editThis may have been the gun used by Dr. Watson.. http://members.aol.com/forensicb/Holmes1.html
CAN BLANKS BE USED IN THE ENFIELD nO 2 Mk I.jpg?
- Yes, you can fire blanks out of the Enfield No 2 Mk I, just like any other revolver. The usual caveats apply, of course- and remember, don't point it at anyone! Blanks should be considered just as dangerous as live ammunition, and make sure you check your local laws etc etc etc. --Commander Zulu 14:43, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
Barrel length 5.75in. (458mm)
- Doesn't add up. 5.75 in is 146 mm
This doesnt make sense, "I would be very much obliged if you would slip you revolver into your pocket" this quoted from Connan Doyles 'The Speckled Band' but in the article is claims the 'Eley's no2' which Dr Watson is famous for weilding was not even around at that time, bearing in mind that this story in particlar was written in ~1890 but pre 1900

Split
editThis article really should be split since these are two unrelated guns. --Phil1988 (talk) 02:25, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
