Hindustan = India ?
editDoes the Emperor of Hindustan actually means Emperor of India? Emperor of India was a seperate term used by the British Raj Kings.
British native title was "Kaiser-i-hind" which basically means Emperor of Hindustan or India.
This is alot of confusing honestly, so much so I had to create a account IndoKaiserHind (talk) 15:38, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- Could someone help out here? IndoKaiserHind (talk) 14:41, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Does Hindustan help? Not sure what you find confusing - the Mughals used the title, then the British revived it after the end of the Mughal Empire (with a gap of some years). The answer to your question is probably yes. Johnbod (talk) 22:45, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
