picking up Scarlet Rivera

edit

In the wikipedia article section "Recording Sessions" it says that "while being driven in his limousine around the Village, Dylan spotted Scarlet Rivera walking with her violin in the case. Dylan stopped to converse with Rivera and invited her to his rehearsal studio…".

However in this Village Voice interview from 2011 ( http://www.villagevoice.com/music/interview-famed-bob-dylan-violinist-scarlet-rivera-on-the-chance-nyc-street-meeting-that-changed-her-life-6593138) Scarlet Rivera says:

-----

VV - It's a wonderful story: You're walking through the Lower East Side, minding your own business, a violin case in your hand, and you get cut off by an ugly green car and the man inside tries to convince you that his name is Danny and that he's from Hungary, but it's really Bob Dylan. And we all know -- and trying to convince you that he's Danny from Hungary is a good example -- that Mr. Dylan is not one to let truth stand in the way of a good story. Is that the way you really met him?

SJ - Yep. Versus some people who would prefer that he drove up in a limousine, because that makes it more fairytale, you know. But unfortunately, it was just an ugly green car, because he didn't want to flash to the world that he was Bob Dylan, obviously, and wanted to go incognito, as he always does.

So it seems that the limousine element is false. The whole story is uncited in wikipedia also. Anyway I don't know much about the way wikipedia is supposed to work, but I thought I would mention this here so someone who does can do whatever the rules say you are supposed to do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.219.14.142 (talk) 22:04, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
