Request to update language about business units
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello! I'd like to propose an update to the "Operations" section, which I am requesting on behalf of Citrix as part of my work at Beutler Ink.
The sentence "Citrix is organized into three units: Workspace Services, Delivery Network, and Mobility Apps" is out of date. Citrix is no longer organized in this way. At this point, the company is organized into Desktop as a Service, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and application and access security. However, I don't believe this change has been specifically reported in secondary sourcing. This article from The Register talks about the company's focus, although not specifically in terms of business units.
Do editors think this source is adequate to update the sentence to something along the lines of "Citrix's primary areas of focus are Desktop as a Service, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and application delivery and security"? If not, I'd propose removing that sentence since it is outdated.
Thanks for your consideration, Inkian Jason (talk) 14:34, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
Done Removed the sentence; rationale in edit summary. --3mi1y (talk) 01:04, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
Request to add Tom Karuse as CEO
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello! On behalf of Citrix, as part of my work with Beutler Ink, I'd like to request the CEO be updated to Tom Krause, who was announced as the company's new CEO in July. In addition to updating the Infobox, I'd propose adding:
- In July 2022, Citrix announced that Tom Krause would succeed Robert Calderoni as CEO of the company following its merger with TIBCO software.[1]

Because of my COI, I will not make direct changes to the article. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 22:49, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
- Done. Chirota (talk) 07:20, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Chiro725: Thanks for reviewing this request. I saw you updated the TIBCO Software article and not this one. For clarity, Robert Calderoni was not the TIBCO CEO, but I have a separate edit request at Talk:TIBCO Software. Could you possibly take a look there and see how I've proposed updating both of these entries? Happy to address any questions or concerns. Thanks again! Inkian Jason (talk) 16:34, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- I've re-opened this request for additional editor review. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 17:31, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Revert request
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
On behalf of Citrix, I'd like to request a revert of this recent edit to add non-neutral text.
I've submitted an edit request proposing a more neutral update above, if another editor's willing to review.
Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 16:58, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- Done. I've reverted the unsourced and problematic edit. Ptrnext (talk) 05:09, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
