Change from Max to Changmin

edit

I think the title of this article should be changed to Changmin and not just Max, since Max is just a stage name given to him by SM Entertainment while he is in TVXQ, while this article contains not just information on his activities while in TVXQ but wholly as a person too.--Libeika (talk) 03:59, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

ChangminMax Changmin – This article is titled "Changmin", but the contents of the article itself makes no reference or indication of him actually using just mononym (in fact, the first sentence says "better known by his stage name Max Changmin").

I don't see any indication that he has ever officially been a mononomous individual; all his music is credited under the moniker "Max Changmin" (Spotify artist page), and he is referred to as "Max Changmin" in a wide array of reliable English-language sources. Examples: Korea JoongAng Daily, United Press International, Times of India, The Korea Times, Yonhap News Agency, Billboard, South China Morning Post, Al Arabiya, Korea.net, The Himalayan Times, SBS, Kpop Herald, The Korea Herald, KBS News, etc.

Additionally, the "Changmin" mononym is currently ambiguous with Lee Chang-min (singer) who is also a singer known as "Changmin" (though that article only receives about 40% of the traffic that Max Changmin does). The most natural way to clean this up is to move to "Max Changmin". RachelTensions (talk) 15:35, 18 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
