Lead

I think the article could still use some beefing up of the lead-in...right now it basically says "sovereignty is an issue" and "here are some parts of that issue," but doesn't give much of a summary of what the issue really is. I think a summary/introduction like that would help the article a lot. —Politizer ^talk/_contribs 23:20, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

Quebec has, multiple times, voted about seceding from Canada.

I find this line to be slightly misleading. There have in fact only been two referendums in Quebec on "Separation", and even that could be debated in light of "Sovereignty Association". If no one objects, I am going to change the line to reflect twice rather than "multiple times". Dphilp75 (talk) 00:53, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

I agree that "multiple times" could equal two, but the phrase lends itself easily to suggesting that something has happened more than twice. I just feel that its best to not only use the term, but also be accurate. Thanks! :) Dphilp75 (talk) 01:31, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
