I was born in 1971 and dimly remember this show. It was my favorite show for a while, but it is very rare to find anyone who's even heard of it. Here is a site that details the episodes : http://www.coolvariety.com/programming/bigbluemarble.htm. It looks like there were 151 episodes. -coyo

I think that this link should be a part of the article. This is really not a spam link.It is a link from an online community called Retroland. It is a page on the show Big Blue Marble. If you would like to check this out, simply click on the link here below:

Again,I think that it should be on the page.It is all about the show and some people share their memories of watching the show.It is a great site.I hope that it can be added again.72.75.209.78 23:20, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

P.S.To Coyo, you can also purchase video copies of the show from that site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.75.209.78 (talkcontribs)

There is no actual encyclopedia content on that site and that is why the link was removed. It was spam. IrishGuy talk 23:30, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
IIRC the contact info for Dear PenPal was PO BOX 4054 Santa Barbra California, 93103, not that that a defunct address holds any value other than to help someone google information on their "Dear PenPal" program--Largegoat (talk) 21:53, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I remember this program distinctly - and remember the song with the Boston, Massachusetts ZIP code "0 - 21 - 34!" Wasn't that the pen pal address? Maybe just the production company address? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.9.64.4 (talk) 20:50, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

You're thinking of ZOOM. --dave pape (talk) 00:21, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

There are several broken links in the "External links" section. I don't know enough about the subject to find suitable replacements. Jamal Willstalk 15:38, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

“If You Were Me”

edit

The TV series “If You Were Me” made in Europe by the BBC with the help of the EBU pre-dates “Big Blue Marble”, but covers the same sort of theme - was it an influence on the makers of “Big Blue Marble”? There’s an article about it here. Jock123 (talk) 22:34, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
