Becky (slang) → Becky (pejorative) – I am reading that 'Becky' implies the pejorative usage, with scarce and potentially questionable sources suggesting the slang usage (e.g. blowjob). I therefor would like to suggest changing the article title from "(slang)" to "(pejorative)" for the sake of title conformity; the opening sentence of Becky (slang) presently uses both terms. Becky and Karen (pejorative) may be considered ethnic slurs in that context.

- I should like to add that there is a discussion regarding the use of 'Karen' as an ethnic slur on said article's Talk page.

- Oppose Given that, in addition to Karen (pejorative), we have Greaser (derogatory), Paki (slur), Cracker (term), Guido (slang)... I don't see any standard in place, and "slang" seems pretty accurate as a disambiguator for this article. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 20:34, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- Support and Cracker (term) should also be moved, as the disambiguator itself is ambiguous. Rreagan007 (talk) 02:20, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- Not sure. The slang term Karen is at Karen (pejorative), but some slang terms that are pejorative have "slang" in their Wikipedia titles. Bitch (slang) is one. Ratchet (slang) is another. Maybe we decide based on whether a term is overwhelmingly pejorative? Gender Roamer (talk) 21:37, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- That was my thought: adjust article titles case-by-case, depending on content and preponderance of term usage.

- Oppose - Seems like a possible WP:NPOV issue. HumanBodyPiloter5 (talk) 15:27, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Can you explain how that would be a WP:POVTITLE issue? I'm not getting it. The subject is simply a derogatory stereotype. The subject itself may express a POV or it may describe a POV (in a derogatory way), but the fact that there is an article about it on Wikipedia does not express a POV. There are other articles on derogatory stereotypes and pejorative terms. — BarrelProof (talk) 02:56, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
