Barbara Bush (born 1981) → Barbara Bush (activist) – Much better disambiguator. We usually don't disambiguate by birth year unless the disambiguator is ambiguous (ie. Robert Brown (botanist). {{ping|ClydeFranklin}} (t/c) 03:29, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. The current title isn't great, but we settled on it previously because there wasn't much else that was suitable. "Activist" doesn't work as a disambiguator, because Barbara Bush senior was also an activist, her article has a whole section devoted to this, detailing her work on family literacy. — Amakuru (talk) 09:05, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. As Amakuru said above, "activist" is too broad a disambiguator. I'd support if another more suitable disambiguator is submitted. 〜Festucalex • talk • contribs 11:46, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose There is not much else that works here, if I saw "activist", I doubt I would recognize it. Also, it's crazy to name your daughter of your mom's full name. --Quiz shows 22:16, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose Barbara Bush (born 1981) → Barbara Bush (activist) since subject's grandmother, Barbara Bush was indeed also an activist, although the grandmother's prime claim to notability was, of course, as First Lady. Would support, however, Barbara Bush (born 1981) → Barbara Bush (daughter of George W. Bush) while acknowledging the likely opposition to such a form. Would also support Barbara Bush (born 1981) → Barbara Bush Coyne which was unsuccessfully nominated three-and-a-half years ago (Talk:Barbara Bush (born 1981)/Archive 1#Requested move 6 August 2019). Such a form would be analogous to the form used for her twin sister's main header — Jenna Bush Hager. Would likewise support a move to her birth name Barbara Bush (born 1981) → Barbara Pierce Bush which was unsuccessfully nominated over five years ago (Talk:Barbara Bush (born 1981)/Archive 1#Requested move 13 December 2017). Such a form would also be analogous to Jenna Bush Hager and was used on the cover of the book — Sisters First — which the two sisters co-wrote. Although her grandmother's full name was also Barbara Pierce Bush, the grandmother was not known for using her full name — Barbara Bush: A Memoir, not Barbara Pierce Bush: A Memoir, — while the granddaughter has used the full name on the book cover. Thus, a hatnote atop the granddaughter's entry pointing to the grandmother would suffice. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:58, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- Comment. I agree that YOB alone is a terrible disambiguator. If there's a better one then I may well support it. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:00, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
