Page Split
editThis article was created from a split off of Angie's List from the Indianapolis-based web service, from ANGI Homeservices Inc. for the corporate entity based in Colorado. I have copied over the previous talk page entries from the parent page to here. - Davodd (talk) 05:35, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
- For the record, what happened was a lot more complicated than just a "page split". First, the editor above moved the content formerly at Angie's List to ANGI Homeservices Inc. (now ANGI Homeservices). Then, content from that article was probably copied/cut back here, leaving the edit history of this article with next-to-no edit history. The article should have involved moving content from this title to the new title, not moving the entire page and its edit history to another title. But what's done is done, so I'm notating it here, fixing the talk page and its contents, and moving on. Steel1943 (talk) 20:55, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
Edit request
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Someone recently added this section to the page but the source is not a reliable media source:
Many homeowners have criticized Angie's List for selling their information to contractors even though they didn't sign up for an account. It was confirmed by Jessica Blalack, Senior Solutions Consultant at Angie’s List, that "Non-members (Homeowners) who visit the Angie’s List website and elect NOT to sign up for membership are sent through a service request funnel. Their information, as non-members, is then sent to HomeAdvisor advertisers as a lead. HomeAdvisor companies are calling these homeowners and paying to do so as they are considered leads."[1]
Can you please remove it because it is not properly sourced? The website provided as the "source" is not an independent, reliable source -- it appears to be a marketing company's website.
Thank you!

- Angi treat their pros and fairly mislead them on jobs and underpay them and give them violations without proper investigation also removing them without notice and are very unhelpful to pros no matter how much you work for them 2601:644:4500:64E0:34EC:6C6E:B60A:8CD4 (talk) 13:22, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

- Does this comment belong here? It's a review of the business, not really relevant to an encyclopedia article.TheBaron0530 (talk) 12:52, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
