The result of the proposal was "move back to "Archbishop Anastasios of Albania". Balkanian`s word is thanked for his checking of the article's edit and move history.--Yannismarou (talk) 08:29, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Anastasios Giannoulatos → Anastasios Yannoulatos — I think this the right conversion from the Greek language. Same case with Yannis from Greek: Γιάννης. Suggestively, he is refered as "Yannoulatos" in the websites of the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania ([1] and World Council of Churches [2]. — Lapost (talk) 18:53, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
- I think that the article should be moved to Archbishop Anastasios of Albania. He is a religious leader, and I do not understand why he is not mentioned in this way like all religious leaders (see for instance Christodoulos).--Yannismarou (talk) 23:43, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Agree with Yannis, its quite not normal to keep his "kata kosmon" name, when he is a religious leader.Balkanian`s word (talk) 10:08, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- Update It seems that the page was moved from Archibishop Anastasios of ALbania without a reasoning and a prior discussion, by an editor. So there is no need to keep this discussion, just remove the page to its prior state.Balkanian`s word (talk) 10:17, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- Agree with Yannis. Move back to Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, this is the norm with all religious figures. Constantine ✍ 15:18, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Award
editHe has never been awarded any medal even remotely connected to the Hero of Albania. Alexikoua probably confuses that with the award that Bamir Topi, current president of Albania gave to all religious leaders in Albania a couple of months ago.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 08:59, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
According to this [[3]], he is awarded with the Skanderbeg's Order, nothing to do with Kulturi and stuff.Alexikoua (talk) 09:00, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- That is a ranked award, which was given to all religious leaders in Albania. The order of Skanderbeg isn't equal to Hero of Albania.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 10:10, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Majority of article unsourced
editThe bulk of the article lacks sources and is an overly detailed curriculum vitae. The handful of still available sources are in Greek. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Besnikur (talk • contribs) 19:23, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
Article title
editThe title of the article was changed from Anastasios of Albania to Anastasius of Albania, without any prior discussion. The reason provided in the edit summary was that Anastasius of Albania is supposedly the official name in English (diff). First of all, that's not true; even the official website of the Albanian Orthodox Church uses the variant Anastasios instead of Anastasius (here). Secondly, even if it was the official name in English, that's not the best argument to change the title. Per WP:COMMONNAME, in Wikipedia there is preference for names that are most commonly used in English-language sources, regardless of what the official name is. In fact, every single English-language reference or external link in this article uses Anastasios instead of Anastasius. The latter is so uncommon that even Google Ngram Viewer omits it from the result (here). Furthermore, Google Books gave me 803 results for Anastasios of Albania, while only seven for Anastasius of Albania; Google Scholar gave me 64 results for Anastasios of Albania, while none for Anastasius of Albania.
