Independent?

edit

The news stories today are reporting that she is choosing not to caucus with the Republicans, but she's still identifying as a Republican. Based on that, and in the absence of any evidence that she's been kicked out of the party, why are we saying she's independent? —C.Fred (talk) 01:45, 23 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

If Chase calls herself a Republican than she is one since Virginia does not use party registration, anyone can run in a party (Democratic or Republican) primary. She just left the party caucus; she'll probably just sit as a Republican for committee assignments. Buzzards-Watch Me Work (talk) 14:49, 25 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, correct, and she denied that any violence had taken place ... that sounds as if she lost the sense of reality.84.191.96.152 (talk) 10:57, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I am moving the following material here until it can be properly supported with reliable, secondary citations, per WP:V, WP:CS, WP:IRS, WP:PSTS, WP:BLP, WP:NOR, et al. This diff shows where it was in the article. Nightscream (talk) 15:59, 19 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I didn't know where else to post this, but I wanted to cite the actual resolution regarding her censure in the Virginia Senate, but I'm not exactly sure how to cite it. Can someone provide guidance? This is the link to the resolution: https://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp604.exe?211 ful SR91S1 — Preceding unsigned comment added by PartedHeadache (talkcontribs) 00:11, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

--216.30.158.233 (talk) 23:08, 15 February 2021 (UTC) Am I the only one bothered that this page, seems to read more like a tabloid encyclopedia of controversies rather than an editorialized encyclopedia entry? Not a single thing here on her positions or Key Votes? Virginians will be coming here looking for real information, if all the see is this, then they will look somewhere other than Wikipedia. I don't think that is necessary, and I think you should be able to cover her in a less biased way, without forgetting the recent controversies, cause I think they do matter. As someone who is just now learning about politics in the State, I would suggest you find a way to flesh out this page, or just drop it entirely.Reply
