ascii art
editIsent an ascii comic a compliation created out of ascii art? If not, then they titles may be confusing and need some clarification. I personally see nothing wrong with a redirect to ASCII art. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 17:19, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- This page is related to both webcomics and ASCII art. It's part of Wikiproject Webcomics. It cannot be simply merged in ASCII art because it is notable topic on its own. Grue 17:21, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Nerd Boy
editShould this article be kept, I would like other editors feedback on removing the nerd boy section. It is taken from an article deleted via afd for several reasons. Moving it here after the article was deleted circumvents the process. How do other editors feel about this? I believe that editor Grue appears to be the party most interested in the inclusion of this.-- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 17:46, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Nerd Boy was deleted by process. Since then a redirect was created to this article, and what was previously a stub has seemingly become Nerd Boy Version 2. I don't think this is appropriate at all. One Night In Hackney 18:03, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Exactly. If anyone disagrees with the result of the AfD, one can go Deletion Review. that's the right way to do it. bogdan 18:42, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- The better question would be, how do editors who are qualified about the topic of this article feel about inclusion of this. I know a lot about ASCII art scene and did some art myself. How many ASCII artists do you know? Do you feel qualified to edit this article? I'm just interested in providing relevant information. We have a source now, which says that Nerd Boy is one of the greatest ASCII comics. What else do you want? Grue 09:00, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Jerkcity link
editI think it's relevant. There are a lot of similarities between two comics, such as rude language, ALL CAPS and using other people's art. Both comics link to each other. Both comics started in late 90s. It's easy to assume that they are made by the same author. Grue 10:30, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
