Conflict of Interest Edit Request: Correcting the Founding and Early Years Section
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
- What I think should be changed: I am an employee of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. and am disclosing my conflict of interest. This edit request is not intended to be promotional in any way. Can the information on phonewords be replaced with “In 1976, Jim McCann purchased his first retail floral shop in Manhattan, one of the 14 stores he would go on to open in the New York City area over the next 10 years. This was the beginning of what grew to become 1-800-FLOWERS. COM, Inc.” to more accurately describe the founding of the company?
- Why it should be changed: The information in this section about phonewords is irrelevant and doesn’t accurately represent the founding of the company.

Conflict of Interest Edit Request: Correcting the 1990s Section
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
- What I think should be changed: I am an employee of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. and am disclosing my conflict of interest. This edit request is not intended to be promotional in any way. The 1990s section states, “In 1999, the company went public on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the ticker symbol FLWS and changed its name to 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, to match its website address.” Can the company name in this sentence be corrected to “1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc.?
- Why it should be changed: This information is inaccurate, in 1999 the company changed its name to 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. in conjunction with its IPO.

Conflict of Interest Edit Request: Correcting the Acquisitions Section
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
- What I think should be changed: I am an employee of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. and am disclosing my conflict of interest. This edit request is not intended to be promotional in any way. In the acquisitions section, can all instances of 1-800-Flowers be corrected to 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. - and can it be added that 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. acquired PersonalizationMall.com in 2020?
- Why it should be changed: In the acquisitions section, the brand name “1-800-Flowers” is referenced several times, but this is an inaccurate company name. Additionally, this section doesn’t include that the company acquired PersonalizationMall.com in 2020.

References
- SkyBlue406010, I've declined four requests here. This process is for requesting corrections or omissions of basic fact, not for massaging the wording of the article to make yet more promotional than it already is. Please don't make further requests for trivial changes. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:52, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
Application is not submitting
editI’ve applied for a floral designer position and I keep getting emails about my not answering all questions. I correct the missing format but there’s nowhere to submit back. Who shall I contact concerning this matter? 75.162.14.126 (talk) 15:03, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
