Wound ballistics is the study of what happens when a projectile enters animal (including human) tissue and causes a wound. Terminal ballistics is the study of what happens when a projectile hits anything. You could say that wound ballistics is a sub-field of terminal ballistics, but they are not the same.

  • 14:4614:46, 30 July 2018 diff hist −1 July Crisis Changed translation of "Der Stänker" from "The stinkers" to "The stinker", as the der Stänker is the singular (plural would be die Stänker). In fact, Stänker normally means troublemaker, even though the literal meaning is "smelly cheese", but I've left "stinker" as otherwise you lose the logic of everyone holding their noses!

  • 10:1010:10, 29 July 2018 diff hist −2 Austria-Hungary Changed the English translation of the national anthem title from "God receive God protect" to "God save, God protect." Because a) While the German verb "erhalten" can mean to receive, if we're talking about a parcel, a message, or suchlike, it can also mean to preserve, conserve, save, or similar, and that's the only one of the two meanings that makes sense here. b) That is the wording used in the article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gott_erhalte_Franz_den_Kaiser#1854_version. ~~~
