Sørfjorden[3] or Mælan[4] is a village in Indre Fosen Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located at the head of the Sørfjorden, an arm of the Stjørnfjorden. It is located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) southeast of the village of Råkvåg, about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of Husbysjøen, about 22 kilometres (14 mi) northeast of the village of Hasselvika, and about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) north of the lake Storvatnet. Ramsvik Church is located on the north shore of the fjord, just west of the village.
