Piranshahr County (Persian: شهرستان پیرانشهر) is in West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Piranshahr.[3]

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 107,677 in 20,617 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 123,639 people in 28,415 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 138,864 in 34,560 households.[2]
