Pioneer State High School is a public, co-educational, secondary school, located in Andergrove, Mackay, Queensland, Australia.[1][2] It is administered by the Department of Education, with an enrolment of 612 students and a teaching staff of 52, as of 2023.[2] The school serves students from Year 7 to Year 12.[1][2]

History
editThe school opened on 28 January 1986,[3] due to an increase of the population in the area at the time.[4]
A student of the school was chosen to be one of fifty members of the National Youth Roundtable for 2004 out of 663 applicants.[5]
