History
editThe Oman Football Association inaugurated its first women's national futsal team in May 2022.[1] This followed the launch of the women's futsal league for the 2019–20 season.[2] Plans to establish a women's national futsal team was announced as early as 2019.[3]
Their first tournament was the 2022 WAFF Women's Futsal Championship.[4][5]
