Mansoor Delane (born December 15, 2003)[1] is an American football cornerback for the LSU Tigers. He previously played for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Early life and high school
editDelane attended Archbishop Spalding High School. He was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies over offers from schools such as Boston College, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Louisville, and Vanderbilt.[2][3]
College career
editIn week eleven of ten of the 2022 season, Delane recorded his first career interception in a loss versus Duke.[4] He finished his freshman season in 2022 with 38 tackles with three and a half being for a loss, eight pass deflections, an interception, and two forced fumbles in eight games,[5] earning FWAA freshman All-American honors.[6] In the 2023 season, Delane notched 54 tackles with two and a half going for a loss, a pass deflection, an interception, and a fumble recovery.[7]
On December 11, 2024, Delane announced that he would enter the NCAA transfer portal.[8] Five days later, he announced his transfer to LSU.[9]
Personal life
editDelane is the older brother of four-star safety Faheem Delane who is in the 2025 recruiting class.[10]
