The train service RB57 (Ihrhove–Nieuweschans railway) is replaced by buses since December 2015 for the foreseeable future due the damaged bridge (Friesenbrücke Friesenbrücke) over the Ems between Leer and Weener. Opening of the new bridge is planned for 2024.[3]
