Last Breath is an upcoming survival thriller film directed by Alex Parkinson and written by Mitchell LaFortune, Parkinson, and David Brooks. It stars Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, Finn Cole, Cliff Curtis and Djimon Hounsou. It is a feature film remake of the 2019 documentary of the same name that Parkinson co-directed with Richard da Costa.

Premise
editA true story that follows seasoned deep-sea divers as they battle the raging elements to rescue their crew mate trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean's surface.[2]

Production
editIn May 2022, it was announced that Alex Parkinson was directing a narrative film remake of his 2019 documentary, with Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu and Djimon Hounsou cast to star.[3]
Principal photography began in Malta in May 2023 with plans to run through July with Finn Cole joining the cast.[4]
In May 2024, Focus Features acquired distribution rights to the film for territories including the United States, France, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea and Vietnam.[5]
Release
