Tourist Attractions
edit- Chinari and Garhi Dupatta: Famous for their serene environments and panoramic views along the Jhelum River.[3]
- Chikkar: A hill station which provides access to Zilzaal Lake, which was formed after the 2005 earthquake due to landslides obstructing a river's path.[3][4]

Infrastructure and Facilities
editThe valley is connected by a road from Muzaffarabad[5] allowing access to its many towns and tourist sites. Basic amenities such as hotels, rest houses, health facilities, and educational institutes are available in most of the valley's populated areas. Tourists visiting the valley can also enjoy access to local post offices and landline telephone services.[4]
While some parts of the valley, particularly near the LOC, have restricted access due to the ongoing territorial dispute, the main tourist zones remain open year-round.[2][4]
