The romantic black comedy family drama was written by Seo Sook-hyang, who wrote the 50 billion blockbuster drama When the Stars Gossip, and directed by Seong Jun-hae, who directed Bravo, My Life (2022), and Seo Yong-soo. It was produced by KeyEast and Monster Union.[10]

On June 23, 2024, it was reported that the series would drastically reduce the number of episodes to 36, breaking the existing method of producing mainly 50 episodes.[11]
