Summary

Description A U.S. Air Force McDonnell RF-101C-55-MC Voodoo (s/n 56-0220), assigned to 15th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, 460th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, South Vietnam. The aircraft was shot down by a SA-2 missile 16 km northwest of the city of Con Cuong, Nghe An Province, North Vietnam, on 7 March 1966 (loss coordinates: 19 05 00 N 104 46 00 E). The pilot, Major Jerdy A. Wright, was killed.
