Source At some ships captured in Bay of Kotor it had been recorded the usage of a combination of three national tricolors in a shape of a flag with four horizontal stripes of red-white-blue-red (Picture 24, especially ship "Lovćen", earlier name Arconia, 1920. (article by Isaić, Vladimir (2001.) Maritime customs and traditions, Rijeka, publisher Adamić; Maritime Encyclopaedia of Yugoslavia 1964.).
