Source SVG realization is my own work, based on the earlier SVG of 16 Psyche. A description of this version of the symbol for 7 Iris appears in the discovery announcement published in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, Vol. 8, p.82,[1] and it is shown in J. R. Hind's An Astronomical Vocabulary (1852), p. v.[2]
