DescriptionCedar Hills Shopping Center from its west end (2016).jpg
Cedar Hills Shopping Center, in Cedar Hills, Oregon, viewed from its west end, looking east. The nearest space was originally (and for 43 years) occupied by a Safeway store, which opened in 1954, while the remainder of the shopping center opened in 1955. The Safeway closed in 1997, and that space – technically a separate building – was leased to a succession of tenants until eventually being subdivided, with the Oregon Department of Transportation opening a DMV office in the western portion of the building in 2009.
