Konzipiert vom Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda (RMVP), wurde diese Ausstellung in allen großen Städten Deutschlands gezeigt. Nach der Unterzeichnung des deutsch-sowjetischen Nichtangriffspakts im August 1939 hörte die antibolschewistische Propaganda abrupt auf und wurde erst nach dem Beginn der Unternehmen Barbarossa und dem Angriff Sowjetrußlands im Juni 1941 wiederaufgenommen.
