English: 18 December 1947. L-R Defendant, George Rickhey, former General Director at the Mittelwerk factories, at Nordhausen, Germany. After the end of the war Rickhey was sent to Dayton, Ohio, USA as a V2 rocket bomb expert, was arrested there and brought back to Germany to stand trial, for crimes commited at Nordhausen. Standing next to him his Mr. Rudolf Nathanson of Long Island, N.Y. (No street-address) court interpreter. Col. Frank Silliman of Philadelphia, Pa., President of the court, is giving an Oath to George Rickhey, the accused, and Lt. Col. Roy J. Herte of Floral Park, N.Y., one of the seven judges on the trial.
