History
editThe club was founded in 1919.[1]
FK Borec played in the Macedonian First League from the 1992–93 through the 1994–95 season.[2]
The club was promoted to the First League again following the 1996–97 season.[3]
It has produced many players, among the best are: Zoran Paunov, Ilčo Borov, Panche Stoilov and Panche Kjumbev.
Supporters
editThe supporters group Gemidžii is named after the anarchistic group who have committed the bombings in Thessaloniki on 1903. Earlier, the fans were known as Vampiri (Vampires).
