Presillia Evawati (born 17 November 1954), better known by the stage name Eva Devi, is an Indonesian actress and model. She was the first Chinese-Indonesian film star in Indonesia.

Early life
editDevi was born on 17 November 1954 in Jakarta, Indonesia.[1] She completed a high school education.[1]
As of 1979, she resided in Tanjung Selor street in Central Jakarta.[1]
Career
editDevi started her career as a model and theatre actress in 1970.[2] She made her film debut by in a supporting role in Mei Lan, Aku Cinta Padamu (1974), followed by a leading role in Kenapa Kau Pergi (1975).[1] In 1974, Devi was cast by Pitrajaya Burnama for a role in his production Aminah dan Aminuddin. He asked about her availability to do nude scenes, and she assented.[3] She starred in several films, such as Senyum Nona Anna (1977), Pulau Puteri (1977), and Bayang-bayang Kelabu (1979).[1] She also worked at a beauty salon.[1]
