Notability
editThis section is being created to establish the notability of this article, and to hopefully frame further discussion should the need arise. To make the case for notability under WP:GNG, WP:THREE was used for guidance, and the article's three best sources are as follows:
- Ruberg, Bo (June 5, 2022). "Live play, live sex: The parallel labors of video game live streaming and webcam modeling". Sexualities. 25 (8): 1021–1039. doi:10.1177/13634607221103204. ISSN 1363-4607 (This source is a study published in an academic journal that used subject's YouTube video (Source 4 in the article) as one of the critical pieces of evidence for the study - multiple statements from the subject are analyzed and used in deriving the study's conclusions.
- Control Freak: AVN 2018 - The Future of Porn (Please note the actual source is Control Freak, a mini-doc series that was produced by the Control Forever network.) Source is a 15-minute video, and in exploring the role and impact of sex dolls, the subject receives significant coverage. The portions most relevant to the subject are 4:32 - 9:00. There is extensive coverage of the subject from 7:00-9:00.)
- AVN. According to WP:GNG, "multiple publications from the same author or organization are usually regarded as a single source for the purposes of establishing notability." WP:RSP also states "Adult Video News (AVN) is considered generally reliable for the adult industry. Editors should take care to ensure the content is not a republished press release (which is marked as such in search.)" The AVN sources in this article are all listed as AVN articles, not press releases, and Source 11 and Source 7 are most representative of WP:GNG.
In addition to WP:GNG, a case can also be made that the subject also meets WP:ENT, which states "has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions." Subject has hosted the AVN Awards in 2023 and the XBiz Cam Awards in 2021, as reflected in Source 20 and this source. Subject also played a leading role in the first episode of the Ladykiller TV series, per Source 17. Ajax0714 (talk) 16:30, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
