The Madiad Internship Program (MIP) offers marketing internships to students from all academic backgrounds. The program's core is to provide students with practical experience and help them develop essential skills.[1]
|
---|
History
editMIP was officially launched in 2022 with the aim of identifying potential candidates for full-time positions. Similar to other internship programs, MIP was temporarily suspended in late 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [2]
MIP returned in 2024 with two internship seasons: the Madiad Summer Internship Program 2024 (MSIP 2024) and the Madiad Internship Program Fall 2024 (MIP Fall 2024).
The program have applicants from 54 provinces across Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Nha Trang, Can Tho, and Binh Duong, representing diverse universities such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, etc.
MIP works entirely remote, interns have to flexible in working time and working space. However, assessing soft skills, work performance, and cultural fit faced certain limitations in this virtual format.[3] [4]
The Theoretical Framework
editThe MIP's pedagogical approach aligns with David Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory [5]. Interns undergo a cyclical learning process involving concrete experiences, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. This methodology ensures that interns not only acquire practical skills but also develop a deep understanding of theoretical concepts through hands-on application.
