Ashwani Gupta (born 15 September) is an Indian business executive and the Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ)[1], one of India's largest port operators. Career spanning decades in the automotive sectors. He worked at Nissan before joining Adani Ports in 2024, where he has held a range of leadership roles. Gupta succeeded Karan Adani who became Managing Director in 2024[2].

Born in Dehradun, India, Ashwani Gupta graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, India, and obtained a diploma from INSEAD Business School in France.[3][failed verification]
