Bel Ami is a 1947 Mexican historical drama film directed by Antonio Momplet and starring Armando Calvo, Gloria Marín and Andrea Palma.[1][2] The film's sets were designed by the art director Edward Fitzgerald. It is an adaptation of the 1885 novel Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant. It is also known by the alternative title El buen mozo.
