The 2024–25 Jay Trophy will be the inaugural season of the Jay Trophy, the premier domestic red ball competition that scheduled to played in Nepal.[1][2][3] The tournament will start on 5 January 2025, and final is scheduled to begin on 14 January 2025.[4][5][6][7][8]

Background

In January 2024, Cricket Association of Nepal proposed the Men’s Elite Trophy before changing it to Jay Trophy Men's Elite Cup to introduce a multi-day format for the top teams from the Prime Minister Cup.[9] This initiative aims to provide a higher level of competition and further the development of cricket in Nepal.[10]
