Umakanika (kutoka Kigiriki cha Kale: μηχανική, mēkhanikḗ, yaani "ya mashine"[1][2]) ni eneo la hisabati na la fizikia linalochunguza mahusiano kati ya kani, mata na mwendo katika vitu[3].
