Mimus
Mimus (a Graeco μῖμος 'imitator') est ludio qui fabulà mimicà[1] utitur ratione agendi sive arte scaenica, nam mimi[2] est gesticulando tacite fabulam agere.[3] Distinguenda est fabula mimica a pellicula muta. Femina mimica mima dicitur.
Historia
[recensere | fontem recensere]Actio pantomimi primum in Graecia antiqua orta est, nam unus tantum saltator personatus, pantomimus dictus, fabulam peragebat, nec necessario tacite. In Europa mediaevali varia genera mimi exstiterunt. Lutetiae saeculo XIX ineunte Ioannes Gaspard Deburau multas stabilivit mimi attributiones, quae nuper notuerunt, sicut histrio tacitus facie alba.
Iacobus Copeau, magnopere motus et comoedia artis Italiana et noh theatro Iaponiensi, larvis uti solebat cum histriones exerceret. Qua re permotus Stephanus Decroux, eius discipulus, facultates mimi explorare coepit et mimum corporeum relicto naturalismo in genus paene sculptile excoluit. Iacobus Lecoq ratione exercendu insigniter contulit ad mimum augendum et theatrum vi corporis actum provehendum.[4]
