Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior/Lead Product Manager, Content Management in San Francisco, CA. Summary: The Product Manager will be tasked with innovating, designing, and facilitating the agile implementation of product features to enhance the user experience for multiple brands across Merchandising systems. The focus of this role is implementing a new web content management system (WCM)/content management system (CMS). You will be a key member of the product team responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering the merchandising systems that drive this organization's industry leading omni-channel business. As Senior Product Manager, you will develop the product roadmap, define business requirements, and lead delivery of innovative web merchandising solutions across all of our 8 brands. WCM/CMS Process: Once there's a product, it goes through some critical steps to get to the website: digital assets (photos) go into their Digital Asset Management (DAM), then description, care instructions, other text goes into Web Content Management (WCM). These two things come together, and the product is published to the website. Web merchandising is at the heart of our business. This position is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver the essential tools our brands need to showcase our product catalog online and to enable rapidly evolving merchandising strategies across our digital channels. You will collaborate with brand merchants, creative and technology teams to deliver new capabilities and streamlined workflows that enable brands to easily optimize web merchandising and online product assortment at scale.

Requirements

  • 5 years of product management or business analysis experience within a technology organization
  • Deep experience in web merchandising solutions in large catalog organizations, ideally in retail
  • Experience with Content Management System (experience with AEM Sites and Assets - client is using AEM 6.5)
  • The ideal candidate has Product Management experience with Web Content Management and Digital Asset Management solutions for large product assortments in an eCommerce Retail environment; The candidate will have a good technical foundation, an appreciation for change management and business processes, a strong sense of ownership, and solid communication style across different audiences
  • Experience managing relationships with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and documenting those requirements in the form of user stories
  • Experience working within Scrum or other Agile environments
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence, specifically authoring effective JIRA stories for functional requirements, detailed acceptance criteria and prioritization with delivery teams
  • Ability to interface with business as well as technology teams

  • Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated the ability to work with various teams harmoniously while keeping project releases on time and on budget

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
