About The Role

This position is responsible for providing leadership and vision to the team for achieving highest levels of exceptional living and performance metrics of the installation for a temporary period. Must travel to various Communities for extended periods of time. If an assignment is longer than two weeks, travel to home base is provided on an agreed upon basis.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for achieving budgeted occupancy and implementing marketing strategy. Review leasing/prospect management. Managing FMR leases.
  • Purchase Order and Invoice Oversight. Responsible for developing and achieving monthly/annual operational budgets. Completes monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports. Oversees rent and delinquency collections. Managing FMR leases.
  • Represents property management operations at installation and works to set/achieve expectations. Maintains knowledge of legal documents and Polices & Procedures. Maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with military housing office. Conducts briefings/presentations with/for military housing office. Collaborates on resolutions for escalated resident issues. Managing partner COM expectations.
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive resident experience from initial contact through residency to move-out. Monitor Customer Service Scores. Oversees the resolution process for any resident disputes. Oversees installation level LifeWorks program.
  • Daily engagement with Facilities Management team to provide support and ensure daily requirements are being met, collaborate on resident issues and development solutions. Provide assistance and feedback when developing scopes of work based on resident and property needs.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new team members. Train team on policies and procedures, ensuring accountability and coaching for success. Maintain promotion pipeline and develop team members to achieve professional growth and goals. Review team member work performance for accurate and timely completion.

Typical Physical Demands: Regularly use hands to manipulate tools, controls, phones and computer keyboard. Frequently stand, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, and stoop. Sit and stand to do clerical work. Regularly lift and move office supplies up to 50 lbs.

Typical Work Conditions: Work is performed in an office. Employee frequently interacts directly with community management, facilities management, residents, and other staff members during the workday.

Who We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing people in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Property management or Hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Solid interpersonal skills, customer relations skills and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 100%
  • Candidates should possess or be willing to obtain either the Accredited Residential Manager (Institute of Real Estate Management) or Certified Apartment Manager (Building Owners and Management Association) professional designation within one (1) year of hire.
  • Possession of a valid state issued Driver’s License and safe driving record are required.
