A day in the life of a Quality Technician
In this dynamic role, you'll perform and communicate essential sand and metal testing, maintaining process control and ensuring top-tier product quality. You'll be at the forefront of our quality assurance efforts, meticulously inspecting and recording defective castings, and swiftly addressing any issues to keep our production line running smoothly. Along with communicating scrap counts, you will also quickly communicate to the foundry when a product is running higher than normal defect rates to correct the issue.
You'll also engage in random sampling of first-quality castings, ensuring only the best products reach our customers. From incoming product inspections to handling customer returns, you'll be a key player in our commitment to quality.
Your role will involve regular report writing and close collaboration with our team, rotating tasks daily to keep things fresh and exciting. If you're passionate about quality and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
