The Project Manager will act as liaison between assigned brands and all internal departments for new product launches. Interact with Business Development R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory & Operations management to align priorities and commitments to customers (internal and external).
Responsibilities:
Monitor project tracker for accuracy and ensure external customer commitments are on schedule (or changes have been communicated). Develop and cultivate customer relationships to ensure on time product launches and customer satisfaction.
Manage assigned projects/ accounts -Develop, publish and execute project timelines
Provide pricing to customers for ancillary services provided
Issue PDR as required, that details COG targets, benchmarks, No-No lists, other.
Provide customers with on-time delivery of samples, supporting information, pricing and lead-time for all new projects
Share final approved pricing with BOM/PO Coordinator
Initiate pricing requests. Review price quote and provide to Customers
Maintain project status in Project Tracker file
Schedule and Co-Lead Gate-Review meetings for all new products in conjunction with Manager of Project Management
Transfer all project details to the operations team for Line Trials; attend line trials when needed and customer related support
Manage Regulatory Requests for assigned customers for launch
Send Annual Drug Stability letters to assigned customers
Manage all Formula related updates (Reformulations, RM discontinuations, etc.) and other duties assigned by manager
Schedule weekly/ bi weekly call with clients, maintain calendar, keep meeting notes to save to public drive
Understand monthly sales targets are met, report if shortfalls occur for all accounts
Inform business development when presentations to clients are needed or new opportunities arise
Ensure project hand off to the customer services department is executed and maintain a level of support through the transition to ensure a successful launch.
Assist in resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; notifying management and making recommendations. Ensures communications are coordinated to meet the organization's goals and objectives
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Represent the company at meetings and trade shows when needed.
Requirements
4-years of Bachelor Degree in Cosmetic Science, Business Chemistry or any related majors, plus 2 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment or 3 years of experience as a Project Manager handling multiple customers/projects simultaneously.
Detail oriented, with superior organizational and communication skills
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
