As a Procurement Lead with Momentum, you'll play a key role in our team, collaborating closely with dynamic and talented individuals. You'll contribute to the Procure to Pay Process and support the Virtual Card Program in a collaborative, innovative environment and be part of our mission to enable, accelerate, and empower our partners at Momentum companies, allowing them to deliver best-in-class solutions for their customers.

A Day In The Life of this Role at Momentum

As Procurement Lead on our Procurement team at Momentum, your days will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to contribute to our mission. Here's a glimpse into what your typical day might look like:

  • Lead the analysis of spending patterns and identify cost-savings opportunities.
  • Work closely with our partners at Momentum companies to gather procurement requirements and provide strategic support as needed.
  • Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Administer the virtual card program, ensuring efficient and secure transactions.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations for moderate complexity agreements, working closely with legal and business stakeholders.
  • Join team meetings to share ideas, align on goals, and contribute to the overall strategy of the Business Operations team.
  • Engage with new vendor partners and guide them through the vendor onboarding process.
  • Assist stakeholders with navigating the contract renewal process.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Attend training sessions to contribute to your professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree ideally in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in supporting a procure to pay process.
  • Has the ability to build positive relationships with vendors.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excels in communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial principles as it relates to procurement, including budgeting and cost-saving strategies.
  • Shows proficiency in Excel and Oracle NetSuite.
  • Has a passion for building, continuous improvement and making a positive impact.
  • Demonstrates adaptability; flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Can handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity and remaining agile.

When considering experience for this role, we typically find a great fit with candidates who have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the specified field. Additionally, experience in a holding company and/or in a start-up environment is a definite plus.

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
