Job Description

The Private Wealth Market Director position provides leadership of Private Wealth in multiple geographically distinct regions, with a focus on investment management, private banking, and personal trust; establishes overall objectives and plans for the regions; coordinates the activities of other Wealth Management Division departments; May act as the senior Wealth Management officer in a region.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will oversee and manage team personnel in Investments, Private Wealth, and Personal Trust, as well as Market Executives, by setting work priorities, scheduling assignments, hiring, training, and recommending necessary personnel actions.
  • You will devise and execute strategies for efficient wealth management solutions delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction in line with banking practices and BOKF policies.
  • You will oversee various Wealth Management Division departments to collaboratively provide Corporate Trust, Retirement & Institutional Trust, and Broker-Dealer services in the regional market.
  • You will supervise the management and retention of significant or sensitive customer relationships, liaising with internal and external stakeholders about these complex accounts.
  • You will be a senior representative of BOKF in the regional market, participating in various civic and charitable organizations.
  • You will streamline corporate activities for efficient service delivery and may participate in wealth management committees as needed.
  • You will help create and execute an annual plan with key financial and non-financial goals critical to the division’s or corporation’s mission.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field and 12-14 years of Private Wealth & Management, and/or Investment Management, and/or Commercial Banking & Management, and/or Trust Administration & Management, and/or Sales Management experience or 15 years equivalent experience. Preferred: Advanced degree in a business-related field

  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of current market place products and services
  • Good knowledge of investment management and asset allocation
  • Good knowledge of commercial and consumer banking activities.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles & practices, personal trust accounts, estate planning, taxation, and administrative procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills including sales experience
  • Strong goal setting and enforcement skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive reports and presentations
