We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services. Job Title: Nurse Aide for Personal Care Department: Personal Care Status: Full Time & Part Time Salary Range: Experience based pay starting at $16.50/hr PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends! Assist residents in between meals with obtaining snacks and hydration throughout the day. Encourage resident participation in leisure activities provided for residents as described in activity calendar, social events, walking program or as needed to practice de-escalation techniques per resident's support plan Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures Respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnel What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ? High school diploma or GED required Must be willing to obtain medication administration certification upon hire as well as complete a minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually.
