Genesis10 is currently seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 month contract position.
Requirements:
5 years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Linux (7/8/9)
Experience supporting Client, Dell x86 hardware platform
Strong experience in Linux/UNIX System Administration, hardware troubleshooting, configuration and performance monitoring and tuning
Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with different technology partners
Strong communication skills
Understanding of ITIL incident/change/problem management processes
Understand SAN/NAS technology and experience to support server-side related issues
Experience supporting a global environment consisting of 50,000 or more Linux virtual servers
Understand and follow the ITIL incident/change/problem management process
Experience supporting LVM and Veritas Volume management
Experience supporting DMZ environment Linux servers
Experience in automation tools like BladeLogic , shell scripting or ansible tower, Tanium
RedHat Cluster Services Certification
Pay Range: $50.55-$58.55
