Lead Telephony Solutions Architect

Experienced Telephony Solution Engineer Needed - Join Our Team!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Network, Engineering, or Telecommunications; years of experience can be considered in place of formal education
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with call center technology, including platforms such as Avaya, Alvaria, Noble, LiveVox, or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience with Avaya Communication Manager; familiarity with versions 5.2.1 and above preferred
  • Availability to be on-call 24/7 or respond within a 4-hour window when necessary
  • Preferred certifications: ACA, ACIS, ACSS, ACS, ACE, or ACSA
  • Hands-on experience with Avaya servers like S8300, S8410, S8500, S8700, and S8800
  • Proficiency in Avaya Systems installation and configuration
  • Strong understanding of Avaya architecture, design, and Unified Communication products
  • Experience with Avaya appliances such as Avaya Aura Messaging, Avaya CMS, and Avaya OneX Agent
  • Excellent customer service skills and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot Avaya problems effectively

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Network, Engineering, or Telecommunications
  • Equivalent education and experience combination
  • Hybrid work schedule with approximately 3 days per week onsite in Evansville, IN office

Responsibilities

  • Resolve on-site issues with Avaya systems
  • Support voice engineering initiatives and provide ongoing operational support
  • Implement and troubleshoot enterprise Voice-related solutions, incidents, and system outages
  • Handle day-to-day user troubleshooting, adds, moves, and changes
  • Stay updated on system maintenance, outages, and external events impacting IT operations
  • Monitor ticket queues to ensure prompt addressing of customer requests
  • Review, recommend, test, and implement new software revisions, feature sets, and patches for system enhancement
