Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Network, Engineering, or Telecommunications; years of experience can be considered in place of formal education
- Minimum 7 years of experience with call center technology, including platforms such as Avaya, Alvaria, Noble, LiveVox, or similar
- At least 5 years of experience with Avaya Communication Manager; familiarity with versions 5.2.1 and above preferred
- Availability to be on-call 24/7 or respond within a 4-hour window when necessary
- Preferred certifications: ACA, ACIS, ACSS, ACS, ACE, or ACSA
- Hands-on experience with Avaya servers like S8300, S8410, S8500, S8700, and S8800
- Proficiency in Avaya Systems installation and configuration
- Strong understanding of Avaya architecture, design, and Unified Communication products
- Experience with Avaya appliances such as Avaya Aura Messaging, Avaya CMS, and Avaya OneX Agent
- Excellent customer service skills and self-motivated attitude
- Ability to troubleshoot Avaya problems effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Network, Engineering, or Telecommunications
- Equivalent education and experience combination
- Hybrid work schedule with approximately 3 days per week onsite in Evansville, IN office
- Resolve on-site issues with Avaya systems
- Support voice engineering initiatives and provide ongoing operational support
- Implement and troubleshoot enterprise Voice-related solutions, incidents, and system outages
- Handle day-to-day user troubleshooting, adds, moves, and changes
- Stay updated on system maintenance, outages, and external events impacting IT operations
- Monitor ticket queues to ensure prompt addressing of customer requests
- Review, recommend, test, and implement new software revisions, feature sets, and patches for system enhancement
