Position : Front Desk Receptionist/Data Entry Coordinator

Department : Administration/Programs

Supervisor : Director Office and IT Services

Purpose: Special Olympics Florida is seeking to fulfill a front desk receptionist/data entry coordinator. This is an hourly-paid position not to exceed 40 hours per week. This individual must be dependable, personable and capable of multi-tasking.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer experience with word processing, data entry and Excel
  • Personable and professional attitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task, troubleshoot and set priorities


Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
  • Answer phones and direct calls to proper person
  • Answer caller’s general questions
  • Greet guests and staff
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Enter information into database
  • Perform data entry for Finance department
  • Other duties as assigned


Special Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
