Desktop Support:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support to join their team!

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role is perfect for recent college graduates with 2-4 years of technical experience, including internships or part-time jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and a proactive attitude towards solving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktop systems, applications, and a broad range of IT-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems promptly.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using our ticketing system.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues, minimizing downtime for end users.
  • Collaborate with an external IT service desk team and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Handle P1 escalations on a rotational on-call basis every 3rd Friday.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of technical experience, including internships or part-time jobs.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Proactive, go-getter attitude with the ability to independently find solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and minimal absenteeism.

Other Information:

  • Two rounds of interviews with the internal IT team.
  • Work closely with a small team of two internal members and an external IT service desk team.
  • Onsite Monday to Thursday.
  • Rotational Fridays: Onsite every 3rd Friday with on-call duties for P1 escalations.
